Winter on the Mag Mile now comes with a skyline view from inside a glowing, heated igloo. The Chicago Hotel Collection – Magnificent Mile has officially launched its Seasonal Rooftop Experience, transforming the 29th-floor terrace into one of the city’s most unique winter escapes.
“We believe travelers deserve more than just a room — they deserve an experience,” said Lauren Falor, VP of Marketing. This new rooftop activation delivers exactly that with private igloos, fire-pits, s’mores kits, and weekend DJ nights high above Michigan Avenue.
Private Igloos With Sweeping Skyline Views
Open to both visitors and hotel guests, the Magnificent Mile rooftop now offers two exclusive igloos:
15-Foot Premier Igloo — accommodates up to 12
12-Foot Cozy Igloo — accommodates up to 7
Each igloo is fully enclosed, heated, and surrounded by panoramic downtown views. Guests can enjoy chef-crafted bites, winter cocktails, and outdoor lounges with fire features and heaters throughout the terrace.

Weekend DJ Nights on the 29th Floor
